Tumwater Valley Men's Club

Welcome to Tumwater Valley Men's Club.

Our Purpose is:

First: To stimulate interest in golf at the Tumwater Valley Municipal Golf Course, Tumwater, WA by

bringing together a group of golfers desirous of maintaining a golfing organization.

Second: To promote and foster among the members a closer bond and fraternity for their joint and mutual benefit, and to promote and conserve the best interests and true spirit of the game of golf as embodied in its ancient and honorable traditions.

Third: To encourage conformance to the USGA Rules of Golf by creating a representative authority.

Fourth: To maintain a uniform system of handicapping as set forth in the USGA Handicap System and issue USGA Handicap Indexes to the members. Further, to foster and promote member participation in the handicap system to ensure its accuracy and fairness.

Fifth: To provide and authoritative body to govern and conduct club competitions.

Sixth: This Club is an entirely separate entity from the Tumwater Valley Municipal Golf Course. It assumes no liability for the management, operation, or maintenance of that facility except as specifically approved by Club Membership. However, the club shall endeavor to maintain a close working relationship with those public officials and course personnel necessary to affect the purposes and goals of the club.
